Dancing With the Stars Boots Mike Catherwood: "I Was Essentially Flogged by Words"

That Psycho Mike Catherwood is a good egg. Can't dance a lick, but nice fellow.

This season's first eliminee from Dancing With the Stars told us exclusively that his big regret is putting partner Lacey Schwimmer out of work. He said, "I'm not a dancer, I get to go back to my regular job—this is her job, dancing's her life, her livelihood...Everybody's yelling at Obama: What are you going to do about jobs? Look at me! I'm losing people's jobs left and right. And with a big smile on my face."

So who verbally flogged the poor clumsy radio host on his way out the DWTS door? Plus, who did the deejay see naked during his time on the show?

Mike told us, in jest, of course: "I feel terrible, I was publicly embarrassed, I was essentially flogged by words. It's insulting to me as someone who is a broadcaster that people laugh at everything Bruno [Tonioli] says simply because he has a wacky accent. And I haven't been able to develop a wacky accent, and no one laughs at what I say, and that hurts. That hurts even more than getting low scores on Dancing With the Stars. And let me tell you this: Although my ego took a tremendous bruise by being eliminated on the very first elimination and by getting the lowest aggregate scores, I, Michael Dwight Catherwood, am very happy that I was involved in this experience, because I got to, first and foremost, meet Lacey Schwimmer, and develop a friendship and relationship with young Lacey...I've developed a lot of great friendships. This has been overwhelmingly positive in the face of my horrendous embarrassment."

Oh, and that's not all. To hear Mike tell it, he had quite a few adventures during his time on DWTS that made his experience worthwhile: "I got to see Cheryl Burke naked, I got to make sweet love to Petra Nemcova, I got to do Wendy Williams' hair, and I pumice-stoned Chris Jericho's bunions." (Lacey's take on this testimony? "He's lying...and again, lying.")

So what inspired him to bust out those sweet improvised moves at the last minute? Mike explains, "Truth be told, I had a meeting with the executives behind Dancing With the Stars and I was told, you've got to keep those under wraps. You've got to handcuff your special sexual moves, because they're too hot for TV. Modern technology literally hasn't invented cameras capable of capturing that on TV. You will burn people to death in the crowd, you're going to singe lenses. It's like watching porn in high-def. It's too clear."

Did Mike's farewell dance indeed burn your retinas? Who do think will be eliminated next week?

Marie Osmond Remembers Elizabeth Taylor

Marie Osmond is one of the many stars in Hollywood who is mourning the passing of legendary actress, Elizabeth Taylor last week. Elizabeth’s life ended at the age of 79, but her legacy will live on forever.

Marie Osmond spoke out about the first time she ever met Elizabeth Taylor after she and her brother Donny Osmond did their 500th show at the Flamingo in Las Vegas the other night. She met Elizabeth Taylor at the White House during Ronald Reagan’s presidency.

Of the meeting, Marie said, “Those eyes…They were so beautiful just as everyone says.”

Osmond also went on to praise Elizabeth Taylor’s humanitarian efforts saying, “She showed so much courage in her fight against AIDS. She was one of the first celebrities to take up that cause, and I respect her so much for that.”

Marie Osmond admired Elizabeth Taylor so much, that she even used violet colored eyes for her doll collection.

Dancing With the Stars' Kirstie Alley: "I Feel Mediocre"

After last week's breakout performance on Dancing With the Stars, Kirstie Alley was hoping to build on her success with even high scores this week, but it didn't happen, and the always quotable actress wasn't shy about admitting that she struggled some this week: "I feel mediocre. I'm telling you the truth. I know what steps I missed, I know what I screwed up on, so…that's all. I wasn't as tired [as I was last week], the stamina's gone up a bit, but this dance is hard! Who the hell walks around like this? Nobody walks like this!" (It's true: The quickstep has tripped up greater dancers than Alley!)

Meanwhile, which dancer has all but given up hope of success, and which dancer is living the fairy tale?

Is Mike Catherwood being too hard on himself, or is he just being realistic when he says, "I'm starting to realize something: I may want to rethink this dancing thing. Even if I make it through next week, I might want to find some other way to entertain the people. I'm not very good...It's hard to feel confidence. Let me put it this way: I know that I don't have the biggest fanbase, in fact I probably have the lowest fanbase of anybody here on the show, and I now know that I have the collectively lowest score. Lowest score and the lowest fanbase—what is there to be confident about, my friend? I gave it all I got and I think people can respect that." Aww, we sure can. Cheers to you, Psycho Mike!

Another dancer who's taking the experience personally is Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett. Hef's former lady (who was also cheered on tonight by fellow Mansion alum Holly Madison) says, "I am going through this stage in my life where I'm going to blossom into a lady—not just a hot girl, but a lady, an elegant lady. [This is] not only for dancing but for my husband and my son, and just me. And it's emotional."

As evidence of her success becoming an "elegant lady," Kendra got some kind words from judge Carrie Ann Inaba about her look, to which the E! star responded, "That made me feel really good, and I know they know how I feel, they know I'm just coming out here and being real. I'm not fake. I'm not coming out here with some big ego. And they know that. They know how to talk to me, and I appreciate that."

Also appreciating notes from the judges was adorkable charmer Ralph Macchio, who said of this week's lower scores from the judges, "I think the notes were constructive, and I'll take the notes that were positive, [as well as] the notes that there was room for improvement. I think there's places to build from on that. And this number was high-energy, high-intensity, the choreography was not simple—we challenged ourselves—and we delivered all the hard work that we had put in. The crowd seemed behind us and I had fun. The main thing is to have fun."

Personal enjoyment, of course, does seem to be the pinnacle of the DWTS experience, and two other celebs who struggled on the floor didn't let their footwork failures get them down. Talk-show host Wendy Williams told us, "I felt great last week and I feel great this week. You will never see me cop to last week's 14 score, regardless of what the judges said. This week I felt equally as great and equally as present." And kind-hearted supermodel Petra Nemcova said, "I messed up, I must say, so I was disappointed in myself, but I had amazing time. It was lots of lots of fun."

Prince William's bachelor party to curl the royal family's hair?

Prince William’s bachelor party will have plenty of booze and traditional bachelor party activities, according to the website Celebs Gather. Do the Brit’s do a bachelor party like they traditionally do on this side of the pond?

The bachelor party for Prince William will be one for the royal history book, but it seems as if what goes on at a British bachelor party is bit of a gentlemen’s secret. Now that Prince Harry is putting this together, it is bound to be a party that will curl the royal families hair.

The location, guests, time and date of Prince William’s bachelor party has been kept under wraps, and all that is known is it is due to take place this weekend. With Prince Harry leaving for a north pole trek on Tuesday, so if there is ever a time to party, it will be this weekend.

When you talk about a British “gentlemen’s” get together, you may picture pipes, chess, tea and an occasional brandy, but we are talking the Princes William and Harry. They are just not the boys that would find chess and brandy a fulfilling night out.

The royal wedding is just around the corner, and just like the royal wedding of Princess Diana and Prince Charles, Connecticut royal family watchers can have front row seats to the televised event.

Just about three decades ago Connecticut residents joined with the rest of the world to watch a modern day royal wedding. Prince William and Kate’s wedding is going to be the event of this decade.

Lady Gaga flays Malaysia gay lyric censorship

Lady Gaga has urged young Malaysians to protest the censorship of lyrics in her hit song that encourage acceptance of gays.

The Associated Press reported last week that radio stations in Muslim-majority Malaysia were playing edited versions of "Born This Way" that use garble to replace the lyrics: "No matter gay, straight or bi, lesbian, transgendered life, I'm on the right track, baby."

Lady Gaga criticized the censorship during a visit Tuesday to Google company headquarters in Mountain View, California.

"What I would say is for all the young people in Malaysia that want those words to be played on the radio, it is your job and it is your duty as young people to have your voices heard," the pop star said in an interview that was posted on YouTube.

"You must do everything that you can if you want to be liberated by your society. You must call, you must not stop, you must protest peaceably," she added.

Broadcasters have said they are being cautious with Lady Gaga's song because Malaysia's government forbids offensive content. They risk fines of up to 50,000 ringgit ($16,000) and other penalties for breaking the rules.

Malaysian gay rights advocates complain that the censorship is part of discrimination they face in everyday life.

Evan Rachel Wood -- The Merkin Tale

Evan Rachel Wood is getting all sorts of buzz for a special wig she had to rock for an upcoming HBO project ... a wig that was custom built for her crotch.

The "True Blood" star is slated to go full frontal in the HBO miniseries "Mildred Pierce" -- and at a recent NY press event explained, "Let’s just say, I had to wear a wig because it was in the 30s, and everything had to look like it was in the 30s."

According to Wood, her co-star Kate Winslet encouraged her to do it -- “I looked at Kate and she was like, ‘You’ve got to do it. Trust me, it’s so brave. Put a merkin on and you’ll be fine.”

Hines Ward Scores on His Cha Cha on DWTS

Hines Ward is was a star on the Pittsburgh Steelers but Hines moved gracefully tonight on Dancing with the Stars season 12.

Hines Ward traded his cleats for some dancing shoes to appear on Dancing With the Stars Season 12.

Ward is a former player with the Pittsburgh Steelers who danced the cha-cha with Kym Johnson tonight. Hines Ward got good scores from the DWTS judges.

Dancing with the Stars judge Len Goodman said, “You continue the tradition of good footballers who can dance.”

Judge Carrie Ann Inaba called it the “sparkliest Cha Cha.” DWTS judge Bruno Tonioli gave Hines snaps for his timing.

Hines Ward scored a 7 from each of the judges, for a total score tonight of 21 points.

In past seasons, professional athletes have been early front runners on Dancing with the Stars. So I guess it’s not that big of a surprise that Hines Ward did so well right out of the box tonight.

Derek Hough Is M.I.A. From DWTS, But Catch Him Tomorrow On GMA!

Did you catch the season 12 premiere of Dancing With The Stars tonight? This is the first season that I watched without a favorite…I’m keeping an open mind and hoping to see some new favorites step forward.

And there was no elimination this week, which means that the newbie couples who didn’t shine tonight at least have one more chance to redeem themselves – and I’m sure they are all hoping to avoid next week’s elimination as well.

If you haven’t been watching, some big-named-stars stepped forward to compete: Kendra Wilkinson, Wendy Williams, Ralph Macchio, and Kirstie Alley, just to name a few.

But a couple notable Dancing With The Stars faces are missing….where are Derek Hough and Julianne Hough this season?

Derek Hough isn’t on the show, because get this, he wanted to hang out with his British-uber-hot girlfriend Cheryl Cole. Wow! Interesting reason, isn’t it?

Also missing is Julianne Hough, Derek Hough’s sister. No word on where she’s disappeared to – wonder if she’s too busy hanging out with her boyfriend Ryan Seacrest?

Derek Hough is appearing on Tuesday, March 22nd’s Good Morning America….wonder if we’ll get more details then?
